We it looks like we got off pretty easy this time around! Three weeks ago we were nailed with Snowacalypse which dumped (I'm not sure how many) inches of snow and the wind blew 4ft drifts in our driveway! This made it impossible to get to work (oh dear ;-) ).
Last night, well actually yesterday afternoon, the snow machine began cranking out the fluffy stuff again - this time to inches per hour. I believe the final total was 7 some inches. Not too bad for a Michigan snow storm! The potentially problematic part was snow changing over to rain and freezing everything up. This is what we avoided! Hooray! It was wonderful to wake up to a warm house with lights this morning! We do have a generator, but the hubs is out plowing (for other people - not me - BOO!). He is the only one who knows how to hook the generator up, so we would have to wait for him to get home. But! All is good! Praise Be!
